Most pinball machines I get are usually in horrible shape, so I have to do a total shop to the Playfield.  Once the initial, thorough shopping has been done then I just perform normal maintenance.

In another section of my website I have a detail listing of EVERYTHING that goes into "Shopping A Pin".  This covers the simplest task of wiping down a Playfield to all the activities involved in a total restoration.  These lists are a good set of reference materials to determine EXACTLY what is going to be done to your pin when someone says they will "shop it".
